FAQs

For any other burning questions you might have, hopefully we've included most of them here, but if there's something you're still not sure about, reach out to us here

What kind of music do you play?
We play so many different artists and genres. The best thing to do would be to download our master setlist, but when we started playing weddings we started out with pop and 70's, and now we do a lot of alternative rock and metal weddings, so we have pretty much everything from Frank Sinatra and Stevie Wonder to Lorna Shore. 


How  far do you travel?
As far as you want us to! I (Christina) actually really enjoy travelling. The duo might not always be available for a super long travel day, but you can always enquire for solo packages, if thats the case. If it's a long drive, or we need to leave super early in the morning, you may also need to cover a hotel stay the night before, and possibly the night of the wedding, if you're choosing a full day package. 


How much can we expect to pay for travel costs?
We are based in Nottingham, and on average we charge around 0.50p per mile for travel costs, plus an hourly rate if we are travelling particularly far. This is based off of guidance from the Musicians Union Guidelines. We appreciate that travel costs can add up super quickly, but sometimes a few hours worth of travel one way can mean more time travelling than actually performing. For quotes super far, we're happy to send a quick quote via message, and arrange a call if it works. For overseas travels, we'll need to send a custom quote. We just please ask that you let us know either way as we put equal time, effort and consideration into all of our conversations we have. 



Can we see your full setlist?
Yaaaas. We've now updated our website so that you can download our master setlist of every song that we play, as well as an example setlist if you're a little stuck for song inspo. Check out our setlist page here

Can we pick all of the songs?
Absolutely. Some couples want to pick a song for every part of the day, and some want to give us 5 tracks and say "please don't make us make any more decisions" (we get it.)  And we can do whatever you prefer. Christina can be your number 1 song hype gal. Just let us know if you need help! 


We want to book you for the drinks reception, but we want to hear you play! 
Listen, we hear you with this one! The drinks reception however, is usually when your photographer will whisk you away for photos, and we're mainly there to entertain your guests. You can always add on an additional hour of idle time, so if you have a 90 minute drinks reception set, we can put on a chilled acoustic playlist for the first half, and play our set during the second half, when you're (hopefully) back from photos. 


We want our wedding to be chilled vibes.. can you match that?
Ummm.. YESSS. We like to tell ourselves, maybe a little too often, that we are super cool, and chilled vibes is exactly what we're going for. In all seriousness - weddings can be stressful and there are lots of decisions to make, which is why when you speak to us we want you to feel really comfortable. We'll get involved as much or as little as you want us too - luckily we've done so many weddings that we can give you all the best tips and tricks. 


If there isn't a song on your setlist, can you learn one for us?
Yes! We love keeping our setlist fresh, and in a lot of our packages there is at least one song request already included. If you go for a package that doesn't include a custom song, you can still add this on. 


What deposit do you need?
We usually take the travel portion of your quote, and this is due in order to secure the date with us. Without a deposit paid, (and a signed contract) the booking is open to other enquiries, and can be booked. 


How far in advance can we book you?
You can enquire as far in advance as you'd like to, but you must have a date and venue booked, as without this we can't quote accurately. We usually book up dates 1-2 years in advance. 


What equipment do you use? 
We have a Bose L1 1S Sound system. You can see it in a lot of our videos, and its pretty discreet, and easy to move around. Allow around 15-20 minutes for pack down and set up. Please note, that we do need electricity - with acoustic music you need some kind of amplification, otherwise it'll be near impossible to hear anything. 


Are there any song requests you've ever said no to?
We very rarely say no to songs, but with alternative and metalcore tracks we may need a little more time, especially during peak wedding season. (Anything from May - September) Ideally, the song you request will have some melodic element to it - e.g. a riff, melody, or chords so that we can build a melodic structure around it otherwise we're basically writing a brand new song with existing lyrics. 


Do we have to feed you?
If you've booked us for a full day, or we'll be at your wedding for more than 6 hours, it's in your contract to feed one hot meal per supplier. If we're there for a section of your day, like a daytime package, or drinks reception only, then its not required (however we'll never pass up the opportunity for canapes.) 


Can you move in between sets? 
Yes. For packages like daytime package (ceremony + drinks reception) this is quite common, and we'll be moving whilst you're having confetti photos anyway. It takes around 15-20 minutes for us to move between locations,  but we'll never take time off our performances because of moving. 


What happens if either of us needs to cancel?
If you need to move your date, and we're available for the new date - amazing. We'll move that for free, no questions asked. If we aren't available on the new date, your deposit is non-refundable. 
If you decide to cancel up to 90 days before the wedding, it's free of charge. 60 days before the event, and you owe 50% of the remaining balance. 40 days before the event, and you owe 70% of remaining balance. And 30 days or less, and 100% of the remaining balance will be owed. 

If we have to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, like we are ill or theres been an emergency, all payments will be refunded and Christina will help you find an alternative replacement.
